As I was searching for compositions at this beach during low tide, I was observing the people that were walking along the beach. There was this girl at the water line. At first, I was hoping she would begin to move outside of my frame. But then I just started shooting with her in it, and began to notice her emotions. She was happy being there. She was taking photos of the glorious sunset with her cell phone; aiming toward the beach, then toward the sunset; walking slowly, trying not to miss a moment. Then I realized - by her being there in my frame, she helped me. She helped me relay the emotions that flooded my mind with I was there, into my image. She became the essential part of the story.
