Artist's Description

This was captured at Middleton Place Plantation and Gardens on 3/9/17. This is an image of the beautiful azalea path just above the Rice Mill Pond. In the background, you can see the Rice Mill, over to the left.
Middleton Place is among America's oldest landscaped gardens. The design for these gardens began as early as 1741. The Garden Club of America has recognized Middleton Place as the "Most interesting and important garden in America".
If you are in the area, it is a must see and is absolutely breathtaking to view in Spring.

About Kim Carpentier

Kim Carpentier

My interest in photography started at ten years old, when my father introduced me to the art. Several years ago, a camera gift from my beloved husband reignited my passion for the art. I am a self-taught, New England Landscape/Seascape photographer. With ever- evolving "eyes to see", I am consistently in pursuit of capturing the best of what nature has to offer. New England seascapes have been at the heart of my passion, drive, and motivation. Nothing draws me in like the ocean waves; whether they are crashing violently due to an off-shore storm, billowing gently up against warmly-lit rocks, or blanketing and lapping the soft sands of our New England beaches.
